According to Winnicott, the British pediatrician and psychoanalyst, creativity is "the baby's ability to continually remake the world."
La Mansarde is the little (re)creative room La Venelle has in store for budding writers and creators!
La Mansarde offers a year-round program for youngsters at the Gindre-Constantin farm in Collex-Bossy.
"Under the canopybiblio-creativity workshops for ages 4-7, on Wednesdays from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m.: the workshop begins with a sensory reading based on a theme and a selection of books...

Huts, emotions, little pleasures, seasons, scents, objects, music, sounds, materials, large pages from albums or a tale told aloud, sitting or lying down, in a little meditation, walking, dancing, the workshop is moving in space!
The session can take many forms around the immersive reading and its theme, and it can also be co-created in the moment, in tune with the children's energy...
The last part of the workshop is devoted to a small creative project, so that children can leave
as creators, not just listeners.
"Il était plein de foisthemed writing workshops for children aged 8 and over, on Wednesdays from 2pm to 5pm*: sensory walks, theatrical improvisation exercises, readings aloud, four-handed writing - the workshop doesn't stand still, and cultivates the sharing of words, ideas and emotions, to create poems, stories and characters born of the encounter between real-world sensations, the imagination and creative collaboration!

*Your child's snack must be provided, and there will of course be time for tasting and taking a break.
During the school vacations, full-day courses are offered.
